Cheltenham Town Bring Two In On Loan

Shrewsbury Town defender Connor Goldson has become Cheltenham Town’s second loan signing today. The Robins have also signed 22-year-old Bristol City winger Toby Ajala.

20-year-old Goldson, will stay with the club until January 4. He came through the ranks with the Shrews and has made 18 appearances for the League One club this season.

Manager Mark Yates told the club’s official website, “Connor is a very good defender,”

“He is big, strong and mobile. We are lacking in numbers in defence so he will certainly bolster our options.”

Winger Toby Ajala spent time on loan with AFC Wimbledon last season and has previously been on the books of Hull City. Ajala made his debut for the Bristol City in their 1-0 defeat to Birmingham back in April, a match which saw them relegated from the Championship.
