Bournemouth have recalled striker Jayden Stockley from his loan spell at League One side Leyton Orient.

The 20-year-old moved to Brisbane Road in September and made eight league appearances from the bench for the O’s, scoring in the 5-1 win over Notts County, he also made three starts in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Orient manager Russell Slade told the club website: “We’d like to thank Jayden for his efforts in an Orient shirt this season and wish him well.”

He was due to stay with the O’s until January but Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has recalled him early. Stockley has not played for the Cherries this season and has previously been loaned to Woking and Accrington.
